Vejrø is entering a new phase with the appointment of a new director

We welcome Susanne Vang Søgård as the new director at Vejrø.

Susanne brings with her experience as both the owner and manager of a well-known seaside hotel on Bornholm, where she has worked to create experiences closely connected to nature. She is now bringing that experience to Vejrø’s next chapter.

Over the past few years, we have developed Vejrø into a self-sufficient and integrated community—a harmonious blend of energy, agriculture, and hospitality.

With Susanne, we are now entering a new phase where the focus is on enhancing the experience, strengthening our hospitality, and creating an even more cohesive experience for our guests.

Speaking about her first visit to the island, Susanne says:

“As soon as I stepped onto the pier, I could feel the calm right away. It felt like I’d landed in exactly the right place.”

The next step is to take Vejrø to the next level—where this foundation is transformed into an even stronger, more cohesive, and meaningful guest experience.
